Financially is a private, local financial ledger. The app does not create user accounts, include advertising or analytics SDKs, or transmit ledger data to the developer. Financial information entered into the app is processed on the device.
Ledger data is stored in Financially’s local app container. A limited summary is shared only with the Financially widget through the app’s private Apple App Group. Financially does not operate a server that receives or stores the ledger.
When App Lock is enabled, iOS performs device authentication. Financially does not receive or store biometric data. Recurring and ledger-health reminders are scheduled locally through Apple’s notification service.
Financially creates a JSON backup only when the user requests an export. After the user chooses a destination, the exported file is controlled by the user and the selected storage provider. Importing a backup is also initiated by the user.
Users can export their ledger or permanently delete all ledger data from the app’s Settings screen. Because Financially does not retain a server-side copy, there is no separate server deletion request to make.
This policy may be updated when Financially’s data practices change. Questions or reports can be submitted through the support page, by email at zeyadgomaa241@gmail.com, or on the public GitHub issue tracker.
